Nicole has been practising therapeutic massage for over ten years, after initial training at the Wat Pho School in Bangkok and advanced deep-tissue work in Barcelona. She joined Nikky's Mass. when the Nueva Andalucía studio opened and is now our go-to therapist for traditional floor-based Thai protocols and sports recovery. Her approach blends the precision of Thai compressions with deep manual work on the posterior muscle chains — a protocol particularly appreciated by Aloha and Las Brisas golfers, padel players and Puerto Banús sailors after long days at sea. Questions for Nicole
How long does it take to recover from a round of golf with a Thai massage?
A focused 60-minute session on the lower back and posterior chains is usually enough. For training weeks I recommend two sessions per week.
Is deep tissue painful?
Sometimes uncomfortable, never painful. I adjust the pressure continuously and stop at any involuntary tension.
